Christian's First Birthday

It's so hard to believe that this was Christian one year ago. He was so teeny tiny and soooooo adorable. He is far from teeny tiny now but the adorable part never changes!!! Of course this is his mother speaking so I am kind of biased. His first year passed by in the blink of an eye. It seems like just yesterday he was sleeping all snuggled up like a little frog on our chest relying on us for his every need, now he is mister independant, walking and blowing kisses. To celebrate his first birthday we had a party here at the house. A lot of his friends and family came to help us celebrate and we had a blast. Here are just a few of the pictures from that day.

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!!!!

So today it really felt like Winter. We had snow in Texas, can you believe it?! It is a rare occasion so we really enjoy it when we are lucky enough to have it. Unfortunately all of the snowfall happened during the night while Christian was sleeping so he didn't get to see it actually snow. But he did enjoy some of it in the morning. We'll keep our fingers crossed that it won't be the last snow day this year. Although our snow was short lived, it was gone by the next afternoon, we really enjoyed it. Here are some pictures we took and some video of Christian with the snow.
Too bad Christian is sleeping through the snowfall, he would have loved it!!!
Jason made a Texas snowman, he used beans for the eyes and mouth!
The moon looks so big!!!!

Snow and school starts late, how much better can it get?! I know, how about no school at all! I wish!
