Poor Baby!!!

Today Christian had tubes put in his ears. He had 5 ear infections since september and had so much fluid in his ears. To put it in the words of the doctor "a tremendous amount of fluid in both ears". My poor baby must having been feeling icky for a while and we also found out he wasn't hearing well. He has been on so many medications and I hope that this procedure helps. He was such a trooper today. Even though we woke him up at the crack of dawn and I couldn't nurse him, he was in a good mood and played with the toys and the other kids at the hospital. He did have a little bit of a rough time after the surgery but once we got home, he was back to his old self smiling like always! Hooray for no more ear infections... I hope!

Old Macdonald's Farm

Today we took Christian to Old Macdonald's Farm. He got to see a lot of farm animals and he even got to pet some of them. He hung out with some deer, became friends with some goats, took a pony ride, rode on the swings, took a train ride, and definitely had a lot of fun! Malloween

I know this is late but the pictures were too cute to pass up. For Halloween we decided to take Christian to the mall to go trick or treating. He enjoyed looking at all the kids dressed in costumes and received a good amount of candy(you already know who ended up eating the candy!) We pulled him around in his wagon dressed as Godzilla. The next day we also took him to a halloween party with our playgroup. All in all, I think Christian had a good first halloween, oh, I mean "Malloween".

Frankenstein

So Christian is taking more and more steps. Daycare says he walks around all day and that he'll probably be running by Christmas! We are in trouble!!!!! I love watching him try to walk, it is so cute when he keeps his arms in the air so that he can keep his balance. We always make fun of him and say that he's doing the frankenstein. Here is a recent video of him walking.

Dewberry Farm

Over the weekend we took Christian to Dewberry Farm. We met his new friend Colin from our playgroup. He played in the haystack, where he had the most fun. Then we took a very bumpy hay ride to a pumpkin patch. However, the day was so hot and Christian had skipped his nap, that by the time we got to the pumpkin patch he was in no mood to pick a pumpkin. He did however get to see and touch some farm animals before we left.

Christian's First Halloween Costume

We decided that we would have Christian try his halloween costume on a little early to make sure it fits. He struggled to find his balance and was not a very happy camper, but he still wanted to ride his favorite little bike.
